The Sheraton Park Lane is a fine hotel. However, I would not spend much time at
the hotel when in London. Sheratons are great if you are a platinum member of
there frequent stayer program, and they will upgrade you for free. The location
is great, just a short walk to Picadilly Circus (less than a mile), great
restaurants (four blocks) and to the tube (two blocks). It is pricey, but all the
name brand hotels in London are. Again, the best quality is the location! The
restaurant and bar are average.
The Park Lane Sheraton London is situated on Piccadilly opposite Green Park and on
the edge of Mayfair. This is a central location giving access to all of London's
many attractions. Close by are shopping areas at Regent Street, Bond Street and
Knightsbridge, as well as major attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster
Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. All rooms and suites capture the essence of
this art deco hotel's spirit. Room service is 24 hours. Many of the rooms feature
stunning views over Green Park and retain many original features such as firep
laces and marble bathrooms. The hotel also has a 24 hour health facility with the
latest fitness equipment and provides a welcome retreat to relax and unwind.
