The St Martins
Lane Hotel is situated within easy reach of the west end theatres
and Trafalgar Square The hotel also has a rum bar, a light bar,
a restaurant, and meeting rooms and that makes the hotel suitable
for both business and pleasure. Eccentric and irreverent, with
a sense of humor," is how Ian Schrager describes his cutting-edge
Covent Garden hotel, which he transformed from a 1960s office
building into a chic enclave. This was the first hotel that

Whimsical touches abound. For example, a string of daisies replaces
DO NOT DISTURB signs. Rooms are all white, but you can use the
full-spectrum lighting to make them any color. Floor-to-ceiling
glass windows in every room offer a panoramic view of London,
and down comforters and soft pillows ensure a good night's sleep.
Some rooms are nonsmoking. Bathrooms are spacious and state-of-the-art,
with deluxe toiletries.
