Le Meridien
Waldorf is a classical, five-star hotel offering excellent service
in one of London's most envied locations. It bridges the City
and the West End, providing an excellent base for accessing
the main financial district during the day and the ever popular
Covent Garden in the evening. Le Meridien Waldorf's extensive
facilities include 292 guest room, a brand new, state-of-the-art
health club and a swimming pool. Le Meridien Waldorf has begun
a phased refurbishment of the public areas and accommodations,
in order to enhance the quality of this already luxurious hotel.
Guests should be unaffected by this activity. Each of the 292
air-conditioned bedrooms are beautifully furnished in their
own distinctive Edwardian style. There are eight different styles
of interior design, and each room has its own individually designed
chandelier and original antique furniture. They feature a spacious
ensuite bathroom finished in marble. Modern British cuisine
is offered at the hotel's Brasserie, and the hotel bar serves
guests until the early hours. Guests at Le Meriden Waldorf have
complimentary access to one of London's most outstanding hotel
fitness facilities, LA Fitness. For recreation and relaxation
this hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool with a Jacuzzi,
solarium and a sauna (note: Guests under 18 are not allowed
in the pool area except for certain hours on the weekend). Le
Meridien Waldorf is convenient to fine dining, shopping and
entertainment venues. The team at Le Meridien Waldorf has a
wealth of experience in organising events and incentives. As
the hotel is right on the doorstep of London’s finest
attractions, there are plenty of excursions and programmes possible
in the area. Groups are recommended to explore Covent Garden,
which is the city’s cultural village with its boutiques,
restaurants and bars. Some of the famous tourist spots include
Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Leicester Square, The London
Eye and Somerset House as well as the superb shopping of Oxford
Street and Bond Street. The British Museum and the Natural History
of Museum are both within close proximity. Packages are tailor-made
for groups but there are plenty of event ideas, such as a Bombay
Dreams theme.
