The Cranley is one of London's
most charming Townhouse Hotels. The hotel is a 4 star Victorian
property situated in a quiet street in South Kensington. All 39
rooms have been newly renovated and have the latest technology
but also kept the antique furnishing and gives you the charm of
feeling like home away from home! The Cranley is within walking
distance to Hyde Park, Harrods, Kensington Palace and the Natural
History Museum.A number of the rooms boast elegant king-size four-poster
beds, whilst the majority are furnished with equally dramatic
half-tester canopied beds.However, you will be glad to know that
they have dispensed with Victorian horsehair mattresses in favour
of luxurious sprung mattresses. Curtains and bed hangings are
natural linen whilst the headboards and valances are hand embroidered;
the beds are dressed with cotton sheets, large square feather
pillows, and traditional pure woollen blankets.Every room has
an antique desk or writing table with conveniently placed power
and telecommunication sockets; most rooms also have a separate
table enabling you to enjoy room service without disturbing your
work.Nearby parking is a bonus and the health conscious need not
forfeit their regime thanks to a nearby fitness center which offers
discounts to hotel guests. Less than one kilometer from the hotel
guests will find Kensington Palace and the stylish shops of Knightsbridge,
